Create your establishment

How to register your establishment in EtiquetaChef — name, type, time zone, address and tax ID — right after verifying your phone.

After creating your account and confirming your phone, the next step is to register your establishment. This is where EtiquetaChef gets to know your business: the name, the type, where it is and the tax ID. You do this registration only once per establishment.

Who does this registration

The person who creates the establishment is the Owner — whoever opens the account. They become responsible for the organization and can later invite a Manager and Staff to the team.

What you’ll provide

The registration asks for just a few details:

On the web panel (computer), all of this appears on a single screen. On the Android app, the registration is split into two screens — first the establishment details, then choosing the plan.

  1. Give it a name and choose the type

    Provide the establishment name and select the business type that best fits yours (restaurant, bar, hotel, buffet/catering or other).

  2. Provide the tax ID

    Type your country’s tax ID. EtiquetaChef checks the number before moving on.

  3. Select the address

    Start typing and pick the correct suggestion. Confirm that the address shown is really your establishment’s.

  4. Confirm the time zone

    The time zone is already filled in based on your country. Adjust it only if there is more than one option available.

  5. Create the establishment

    Review the details and confirm. Done: your establishment is registered.

What happens after registration?

The establishment starts out without a subscription. Registering is not the same as paying: choosing the plan and making the payment are the next steps, on separate screens.
