Install and use the iPhone and iPad app
How to download EtiquetaChef from the App Store, sign in, and find your way around the tab bar on your iPhone or iPad.
Updated on
The EtiquetaChef app for iPhone and iPad is where your team works at the counter: it’s where you print labels and scan the code to mark them as used. The browser dashboard (on a computer) is for administration. This guide shows you how to install the app, sign in, and get your bearings on the screen.
Before you start
- Download the app from the App Store — search for “EtiquetaChef”.
- Your iPhone or iPad needs iOS 17 or higher.
- Your account must already exist. It is created when you sign up with a consultant, or through an invitation from someone who already uses EtiquetaChef.
- Have your way of signing in ready (see the next section).
Install
-
Open the App Store
On your iPhone or iPad, open the App Store.
-
Search for EtiquetaChef
Type EtiquetaChef into search and tap Get.
-
Open the app
Once it finishes installing, tap Open.
Signing in
How you sign in depends on your role at the establishment:
- The Owner and the Manager sign in with email and password — or with their Google account.
- The Staff member signs in quickly using an access PIN.
The tab bar
The main navigation lives in a tab bar at the bottom, always visible while you use the app. Each tab leads to an area:
- Home — the starting point of the day.
- Labels — labels in use, ready to print and track.
- Products — your item catalogue.
- Stock — an overview of your products.
- More — opens a list with the remaining areas (Templates, Printers, History, Profile and others).
It’s the same order as the Android app, on purpose: switching devices shouldn’t mean relearning where things are.
What isn’t in the app
Signing up is done with a consultant, and deleting the account happens only in the browser dashboard. The app is for day-to-day work.
Who sees what
Some items only show up for people who administer the establishment. The Owner sees everything, including Users and Account. The Manager and the Staff member see the day-to-day areas, without the administration options.
