EtiquetaChef helps bars, restaurants and hotels track the shelf life of perishable products by printing labels with automatically calculated expiration dates. This quick guide takes you from zero to printing your first label in just a few minutes.
What’s ready in your account
Right after signing up, you already have:
- A tenant (your business) with the Free plan active.
- An empty product catalog, ready to receive your items.
- A set of default validity rules (primary, opened, manipulated, thawed, cooked) that you can customize.
Next steps
- Connect a Bluetooth printer — the “Printers” screen walks you through the entire pairing process.
- Add products — start with the 10 items you use the most.
- Print your first label — pick the product, the state (opened, manipulated, etc.) and EtiquetaChef calculates the expiration date.
