Canceling and the 7-day guarantee
How to cancel your subscription from the web dashboard and when you qualify for the 7-day refund guarantee.

You can cancel your EtiquetaChef subscription yourself, anytime, without opening a support ticket. And if you change your mind early on, there’s a 7-day refund guarantee. This guide explains the difference between canceling and requesting a refund, and how to do each one.
Who can cancel and where
Only the Owner of the establishment can cancel, and it’s done only in the web dashboard (etiquetachef.com). The Android app is for daily operations — creating and printing labels; account and subscription management lives in the browser.
Canceling is different from requesting a refund
These are two separate things:
- Canceling ends the renewal. The subscription stops renewing and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. No further charges after that.
- Requesting a refund returns the amount you already paid. This only applies within the 7-day refund guarantee, counted from the first charge.
The 7-day refund guarantee
If you request a refund within 7 days of the first charge, you get the full amount back. The guarantee applies to both cycles — monthly and yearly. The refund lands back on the original invoice or card within a few business days, depending on your bank.
How to cancel your subscription

Sign in as Owner on the web dashboard
Go to etiquetachef.com with the Owner account for the establishment. Manager and Staff won’t see this option.

Open Account & Plan
From the menu, choose Account & Plan. There you’ll see your subscription, with plan, amount, and cycle.

Cancel the subscription
Use the cancel subscription option and confirm. The subscription stops renewing; you keep access until the end of the period already paid.
What happens after you cancel
- No new charges. Renewal stops immediately.
- Access until the end of the paid period. You keep using EtiquetaChef normally until the date the subscription would have ended.
- Refund, if eligible. Canceled within 7 days of the first charge? The refund is full, on either monthly or yearly.
I just want to pause
We don’t offer subscription pausing today. The alternative is to cancel and come back when you need to — your personal login stays the same, and you can reactivate or start again anytime.
