My organization was closed — what now?
What changes after closure, how to recover the organization within 90 days, and how to keep using EtiquetaChef.

The organization has been closed — either by your request or by another admin. Here’s exactly what changed and what you can do.
What changed
- You were logged out from the app on every device.
- The organization no longer appears in your list when you open the app.
- Billing stopped. No new invoices are generated.
- If a MBG refund is eligible, it’s processed automatically — it posts to the original invoice/card in 5 to 10 business days.
What still works
- Your personal login is still valid. You didn’t have to create a new account.
- You can create a new organization any time — EtiquetaChef supports multiple organizations per user.
- You can accept invitations to other organizations as usual.
How to recover the closed organization
Data is kept for 90 days after closure. Within that window the organization can be restored with everything in place: products, validity rules, labels, members, and history.
- Reply to the
tenant_deletedemail you received at closure time, or send a fresh email to help@etiquetachef.com from the OWNER’s email address. - Include the organization name and, if you have it, the ID shown in Account → Organization before closure.
- We reply within 1 business day confirming the restoration.
- Once restored, all members see the organization back in their list and the subscription is reactivated (regular billing resumes from the next cycle).
After 90 days, data is permanently deleted and recovery is no longer possible, per our Privacy Policy.
About billing and refunds
- The subscription was cancelled at closure. There’s no retroactive billing nor on restoration within the 90-day window (when restored, the new cycle starts fresh).
- If you were inside the MBG window (7 days monthly / 14 days annual) at closure, the full refund is processed automatically. It posts to the original invoice or card in 5 to 10 business days, depending on the issuer.
- If you were outside the MBG window, service stays available until the end of the cycle already paid — there’s no proportional charge for the unused period.
I didn’t request the closure — what should I do?
If the organization was closed without your request, contact us immediately at help@etiquetachef.com from the OWNER’s email address. We’ll investigate and, if applicable, restore the organization within the 90-day window.
Why did EtiquetaChef ask for email confirmation?
Closure becomes permanent after 90 days. Email confirmation makes sure the order really came from the account owner — it protects against accidental action and against unauthorized access on an already-logged-in device.
