Edit your profile and change your password or PIN
How each person edits their own profile and how Owner, Manager and Staff change their password or PIN in EtiquetaChef.

In EtiquetaChef, each person manages their own profile. You adjust your display name — the name the rest of the team sees — and, depending on your role, change your password or your PIN.
Edit your profile
The profile is always yours: each person edits their own. The field you adjust there is the display name, used to identify you within the establishment.

Open your profile
In the web dashboard, open Profile. In the Android app, tap your avatar to reach the same screen.

Adjust your name
Type the new name in the Your name field and save. The new name starts showing to the whole team.
Password or PIN: depends on your role
There are two ways to sign in, and each role uses one of them:
- Owner and Manager sign in with email and password — and change the password.
- Staff sign in through the Android app with a 6-digit PIN — and change the PIN.
These are two separate flows. Your profile shows only what makes sense for your role.
Change the password (Owner and Manager)

Open your profile
In the web dashboard or the Android app, go to Profile.

Tap “Change password”
Enter the new password, confirm it and save.
Change the PIN (Staff)
Staff work at the counter through the Android app and use the PIN for quick access on the device.

Open your profile in the Android app
Tap your avatar and go to Profile.

Tap “Change PIN”
Enter the new 6-digit PIN, confirm it and save.
Changing your password or PIN signs out your other devices
When you change your password or your PIN, every other session open on other devices is signed out for security. Next time, you’ll need to sign in again with the new credential.
